Kingman, AZ, The Heart of Historic Route 66, Selects InfoSewer for Advanced Engineering-GIS Modeling and Management Smart Water Solutions Will Support Comprehensive Sewer Master Planning Effort

Broomfield, Colorado, USA, October 2, 2015

Innovyze, a leading global innovator of business analytics software and technologies for smart wet infrastructure, today announced that the City of Kingman, Arizona, has chosen InfoSewer to manage its sewer collection systems.

Kingman is the county seat of Mohave County. Its Wastewater Division operates and maintains two separate wastewater treatment and collection systems with 198 miles of publicly owned sewer mains and 2,997 manholes. Both plants treat about two million gallons per day and serve approximately 21,000 people.

“We were looking for a comprehensive GIS-centric modeling solution for managing our sewer collection networks,” said Gregory T. Henry, P.E., Kingman’s City Engineer. “The software will help us evaluate our sewer systems’ hydraulic capacity today and in the future, determine most-needed improvements and continue delivering a high level of service to our customers.”

Built atop ArcGIS (Esri, Redlands, CA) and supported by industry experts, the innovative network modeling technology of the Innovyze geocentric wastewater software family addresses every facet of utility infrastructure management, operation, sustainability and resiliency — delivering the highest rate of return in the industry. Engineers and GIS professionals can easily analyze and simulate various conditions; accurately assess hydraulic and water quality conditions; pinpoint system deficiencies; and determine the most cost-effective physical and operational improvements to achieve optimum performance and regulatory compliance while enhancing community relations.

“By far, Innovyze offers the most comprehensive array of ArcGIS-centric hydraulic infrastructure modeling and management solutions in the water and wastewater industries,” said Paul F. Boulos, Ph.D., BCEEM, Hon.D.WRE, Dist.D.NE, Dist.M.ASCE, NAE, Innovyze’s President, COO and Chief Technical Officer. “We design each of these critical geocentric system dynamics tools to help our customers do their jobs better, faster, easier and at lower cost. These advantages lead to quicker, more informed decision making and enhanced capital planning. We’re proud to know that our industry-leading solutions will be helping the City of Kingman leverage its GIS investment and build a solid foundation for success in the decades to come.”
