Broomfield, Colorado, USA, April 22, 2014 — Innovyze, a leading global innovator of business analytics software and technologies for smart wet infrastructure, today announced that the City of Denton Wastewater Department in Texas has chosen industry-leading Innovyze InfoMaster Sewer software to help manage the replacement and rehabilitation of its underground distribution infrastructure. The decision helps the utility leverage its investment in ArcGIS technology from Esri (Redlands, CA) by enhancing it with the most technologically advanced GIS-centric software platform available for collection system capital planning and renewal.
Located north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, Denton is one of the 25 fastest-growing cities in the United States. From 2000 to 2010, the city grew by 40% and today encompasses a population of 123,000. To serve this burgeoning community, Denton maintains more than 500 miles of wastewater collection mains distributed over four main basins and 33 sub-basins. It also operates its own cleaning and closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection program.
